what is fca incoterms

what is fca incoterms stands for Free Carrier, which is one of the 11 Incoterms defined by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) to specify the responsibilities of buyers and sellers in international trade. Under FCA, the seller delivers goods to a carrier or another person nominated by the buyer at an agreed location. The seller is responsible for the cost and risk of delivering the goods to that location, but the buyer assumes responsibility for the transportation costs and risks once the goods have been handed over. This term is commonly used for shipments where the seller is responsible for getting the goods to a transport hub, but the buyer handles the main shipping journey.
